Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie conducted by Herman Engels

Formed in 1958, Belgium's oldest chamber orchestra brings together music from the past and the present, developing a vast repertoire of classical, romantic and contemporary music. It is a regular partner of the Queen Elisabeth International Music Competition of Belgium and the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel.

Luc Tooten is first cellist of the Flemish Radio Orchestra. As a soloist he has performed all over the world. At this moment he forms a duo with the pianist Stéphane De May, who is as also well known in the world of music.

Viviane Spanoghe is one of Belgium's most eminent cellists with international fame. For more than twenty-five years she has performed together with the pianist André De Groote. The duo has been on stage all over Europe, the United States, Africa and Japan.
On the program: light romantic music by Adrien François Servais, Franz Liszt, Igor Stravinsky and Gabriel Fauré.

Cello classes of the Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel (Royal Conservatory Brussels)

About twenty promising cellists appear on stage. They are all students of Viviane Spanoghe and Jeroen Reuling at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where Servais himself had been a student and afterwards a professor for eighteen years.
On the program: light romantic music by Adrien François Servais, Anton Rubinstein and others.
